Synopsis from Goodreads:

A “twisted page-turner that should appeal to fans of You”.—Entertainment Weekly.com
YOU’VE NEVER READ A LOVE STORY AS TWISTED AS THIS.

Juliette loves Nate.

She will follow him anywhere. She’s even become a flight attendant for his airline, so she can keep a closer eye on him.

They are meant to be.

The fact that Nate broke up with her six months ago means nothing. Because Juliette has a plan to win him back.

She is the perfect girlfriend. And she’ll make sure no one stops her from getting exactly what she wants.

True love hurts, but Juliette knows it’s worth all the pain…

My Thoughts:

About every third or fourth sentence, there is some kind of declaration on how much Juliette loves Nate and after the third time, you go ‘ohhhhhh, she has an obsession with him and he doesn’t return her feelings,’ and that’s about the second page after Nate is introduced.

This ends so abruptly. I was casually reading like one does and all of a sudden, it was over. There was no true conclusion, just so many questions.

It seemed to lack creativity and the plot devices that make up psychological thrillers. It was a longer version of the blurb for the book. The pacing was off, it was slow in parts and too quick in other places. The first half of the book was very interesting and I could almost get past Juliette and the beginning of her obsession. It had great potential but lacked direction.

It’s a thriller that I won’t be jumping at to recommend. I have read so many other amazing thrillers with a close concept of this one.

Have you read this? If so, what are your thoughts?

What books are you trying to read this month? Any recommendations?
